I have removed the "Comments" box due to unauthorized usage. That means some jerk or many jerks are using the comments box to send me links to porn sites. I don't have much of a sense of humor when it comes to that kind of crap. Now I suspect that whoever is doing it isn't a member of our class and it's just some friggin kid out there that thinks it's funny as hell. O.K. kiddies, playtime is over! Now find something constructive instead of destructive to do.

Faith - you have the touch - thank you for sharing your expertise with us.

Aw...you're too sweet Jackie and thanks for testing it out. fwm

Faith!
What a wonderful website! Looks like I missed a great reunion and I am sure glad you identified these folks cause I was clueless - except for Ronnie Phillips who hasn't changed at all. Charlie says Billy Nix looks just like his dad now. Hey Billy, how did we get so old???

We drove by your old homestead the other day (after Horace Allen's funeral) and thought of you. Nice to now that you are well and sooo smart!

Thanks again for the memories.
Sheila Hayes Nix

PS: We are alive and well in Inverness, Florida, Dad is still at the old homestead, Ed has built a home behind him and Beth and Debby are close at hand.

Gosh, it's great to hear from everybody. Gee now I'm getting homesick. Smart, hm... she must mean Billy. LOL. .fwm

First of all I have to say to the Class of 65.... YOU LOOKED MARVELOUS....

When we started meeting each other (some for the first time in 40 years), it was like we talked yesterday. How wonderful that we formed such good friendships back then that we could feel so comfortable with each other.

Thank you, Larry Bastberg for such a wonderfully honest poem.

Thank you BING for your insistence and persistence. You were the spirit behind this coming together. Thank you Jackie and Bertie Sue for the day to day workings that made it possible to put this all together. Thank you Bob Stahl for helping with the emails and finding our lost ones. And last but not least, thank you Kevin and Linda for taking us back in time with the tour and then putting on a feast.

I for one loved every hug, every kiss, every smile, every laugh and every memory. May we all be blessed with many more.
Betsie Phillips

And "thank you" Betsie for taking the time to write such a beautiful sentiment. fwm

      Faith,
It was good seeing everybody and reliving remembered moments. What a wonderful way to remember our 40th Reunion with this site. I live in Three Lakes Community between Eustis and Umatilla. (Eustis phone, Umatilla address). Looking forward to the next time we can all get together again. Thanks to everyone. It was great.

Great to hear from you Ruth! fwm

At the end of twelve years of formal schooling, we were eager to hit the road running on our many different life plans. After 40 years it was great to re-gather, remember when and review the roads we each selected. I attended only one event during the reunion, but that small span of time rejuvenated me. Thanks to each of you, my fellow classmates, for the life support system we put together over those twelve years that keeps us all connected.
Bertie Sue

The reunion was awesome....so great to see so many of our classmates, especially after 40 years...Many thanks goes to everyone that helped put the event together...especially Bruce...And Kevin, you and your wife did an excellent job with the fish fry...thank you both so much. I just can't say enough good about it...let's do it again in two years...
Faith thank you for the web site, what a great way to stay in touch...God bless everyone...

What a terrific job you have done Faith. This is a great way to keep the memories of reunion fresh in our minds and the renewal of friendships current. Bing, Bertie Sue and company did a great job considering the short time frame and distance. I want you all to know that although I did not physically finish the last four years at EHS my heart has always been at EHS and with the class of '65. Despite the different roads we all have taken since June,1965 one thing is certain we all remember the road home where friendships were formed and flourished. And after 40 years continue to flourish. We may have a few grey hairs and other signs of aging but one thing is certain we still know how to laugh, enjoy each other's company and have a good time. Until next time Sallie Dillard Wallace

To all those who participated.
Hi. Thanks for putting the reunion together and attending. I enjoyed getting to take part on Friday. It sounds like a "cop out" but there was no way for me to attend Saturday and maintain other commitments I have made in my life. I enjoyed seeing how we all had aged and yet stayed the same. I spent many hours prior to the reunion and since remembering how blessed I felt for being a part of Eustis High School and having most of you as my friends while we went to school. I consider my time at high school one of the high points in my life. I have often longed for the sense of acceptance and connection I felt when I was a teenager.

Remembering fondly,
Michael Rebel

Everyone keep in touch. If anyone comes by Philly, please call. It was great to see everyone at the reunion.
Bruce
It was really great seeing everyone again. My how we've aged, and some of you quite gracefully! Thanks to all who put this reunion together and made it such a wonderful event. I'm already looking forward to the next one.
