Do
you do pro bono work? Sometimes, but only if I am the art director. Pro bono work is a creative perk we give ourselves. If the project isn't creatively satisfying there is very little reason for me to do it. Put another way, "if you want it for free, you don't get to run the show". |

Wouldn't
you do it for a "good cause"? A "good cause" is a relative term. Your definition of "good cause" may not be my definition of "good cause". Tell you what...you donate a couple of thousand dollars to keeping my printer running for a year and I'll donate a couple of thousand dollars worth of work. Seems like a fair trade. |

you get a tax break for doing pro bono for non-profits? No, the accountant assures us, in-kind donations are not deductible. |
