In a momentary lapse of sanity,
I decided to return to school to pursue a more creative inclination. Since becoming a certified *Commercial Artist in 1998, I have worked on a variety of projects. Providing graphic technical expertise to a legal publishing company as well as instituting a method for tracking their large database of diagrams, I tackled everything from re-creating city seals to untangling 200 page PDF files. Leaving in 2001, I opened Longview Studios to provide creative solutions for a more varied client base. I do everything from logo creation to cookbooks. I particularly enjoy creating identities.My hobbies include reading, cooking (right now I'm on a Granola kick), walking (helps the creative process), Low-Impact Aerobics, and a little gardening here and there when it's not too hot. Well, this is Tallahassee and it does get hot!
The we is now me since my son is now working full-time in IT. Not that I can't still confer with him regarding how much he'll charge for illustration which is his forte'. It will just be more long distance than walking across the patio to his outside studio.
